Obama Meets With House Republicans

President Obama in a frank Q&A session with house republicans.  This is a bit of olive branch extending due to the recent reversal of fortune for the democrats in the Senate.  The video is lengthy but substantive. You’ll need about an hour to view.

Effectively here, Obama is going into the lion’s den to take on the republicans and does a masterful job making his point in the back and forth with them.  There’s some campaign type rhetoric coming from some of the republicans that he pushes back hard against and some thoughtful discussion around the health care issue.   I think this is a substantive exchange that’s rarely seen in the 30 second sound bites we normally get on the news networks.  This reminds me of the presidential debates.
